Lake Garda's bike lane between Limone and Riva
The elevated Lake Garda’s bike lane connects Limone sul Garda and Riva del Garda. It’s one of the most spectacular bike paths in Europe and gives you the opportunity to enjoy a breath-taking view of Lake Garda. It unwinds on 2,5 km: you can either cycle or walk along the lane, in an easy, flat track.
Along the path you can enjoy the sight and the pleasant breeze blowing from the lake. In addition to that, you can also take a break on the bike lane, as there you can find a snack bar where you can grab a drink or a quick bite, and public toilets.
The cycle lane was made in 2018 and runs along the shoreline and above the water level. Clinging to the rock, it hovers at about 50 m above the lake. You can have a walk or a bike ride even when the sun goes down, thanks to a LED lighting system.
The elevated bike lane is just 2 km away from Hotel Cristina; the round trip is about 8 km. You can walk there, or cycle your way there either with your own bike or with a bike rented at the hotel. To get there you’ll have to go down to Limone centre, so be aware that you’ll have to go through narrow alleyways and a few climbs, especially just outside the centre.
